Roots in Resilience
I grew up on a family farm in Mexico, where I learned early on that complex systems, whether biological or digital, require patience, consistency, and resilience.
At 15, I moved to Canada, teaching myself English through endless reading. That experience taught me how to adapt quickly to new environments, a skill I now apply to learning new tech stacks.
Engineered Curiosity
My journey wasn't linear. It started with dissecting gadgets to see how they ticked and evolved into dissecting datasets to predict outcomes.
I am driven by the connection of Rigorous Logic and Real-World Impact. Whether I'm building a web app or training a model, I'm always asking: "How does this actually help someone?"
Balance & Impact
When I'm not coding, I'm reconnecting with nature. Co-founding the UPEI Climate Action Association was a commitment to using my energy for tangible change.
I believe the best engineers are well-rounded humans. My time outdoors recharges the creative energy I bring to my code.
